No woman is in a bar, talking to a strange man, and worrying if she'll be called a "slut". You just TELL HER you want sex and she'll either be offended and say "no" or she'll fuck you. I don't understand what this "landmine" attitude is about women in bars. That's what they are there for. The reason they turn you down is either 1. you're not the type of "dick" she was looking for that night OR 2. you were rude and offensive in the way you expressed your interest in sex with her. Those are the two reasons women say "no". I really think men need to understand that women are NOT there giggling and dreaming of weddings and babies.....they are thinking the same things that you are, playing the same games, and having the same conversations with her friends later on that you are. Please gentlemen stop thinking that women function differently, because that is what makes you get turned down as a "douche-bag" or "immature" to women at bars. They want casual sex with a man who understands that it's no big deal and won't want to be her boyfriend or stalker afterwards. That's all. Don't come off that way and don't take rejection to heart because those are the only two factors that really matter (to women who are attractive and get proposals for sex regularly).
